WANTED: "Rammu kaka"

"Why 90 % of all household servants are named "Rammu Kaka" , in bollywood movies?"

You might have noticed that every bollywood (i mean every indian) movie starts with the disclosure mentioning it to be a "work of fiction". I cannot agree more to it when i consider our good, old, never tiring - Rammu Kaka.

I really wonder where one can find a Rammu Kaka who does the following things :
  1. He is always awake to welcome the hero (no matter how late he comes home), and
  2. Super skilled (being an expert gardener and cook - remember "beta , aaj maine tumhari pasand ka khana banaya hai").
  3. Normal Rammu kaka morning routine is to wake up before the sun rise and serving morning tea to "badey mallik and mems'aab", to help prepare breakfast, prepare kids for school or office and then walks munna to school incase the driver is busy and bring "tarkari" on his way back home (after the required bhav-tol obviously- RK's are smart creatures) - i mean Rammu kaka's of Indian cinema can put all the robots to shame.
  4. You can find the RK's wearing the same "white dhoti and khadar ka chotta kurta" through out the movie , that means from the time hero is born to the point he gets married atleast.
  5. In case, the Rammu Kaka's are expelled out of the household , he will just walk away with a small "potli" (no one knows what it contains).
  6. Rammu Kakas goes to their respective villages only once in a life-time and that too when someone in their village is very "bimaar". (in other words no holidays)
  7. In case, the Mallik faces huge losses and is thrown out of the bunglow by wicked "munim", Rammu Kaka's are the first ones to offer help and shelter.

i appeal to the Ministry of HRD to start "National Schools of Rammu Kaka Training" in capital city of every state so that the middle class can get their fair share of Rammu Kaka's

and a tribute to Mr A.K.Hungle for his potrayel of Rammu Kaka in innumerable movies..

"Rammu kaka.... Rammu Kaka... echo effect.... Rammu Kakaaaa.....)

hi, what sort of expert you are???

till the last week i had a great appreciation for the so called experts, whether it be a cardiologist, orthopaedist or even an expert plumber... though i still have that sort of feeling but not equally intense, Reason?????
well a student of medicine ll become an expert in say 9 years of his student life
a plumber in 2-3 years but how many of us gain expertise in living our lives even though we take years and years of practicing the samething??
i am talking about looking at life as a once in a lifetiime journey :):)
so much to be , so much to do and so much to learn type thingie :):)
why feel insecure when you know you are loosing the most valuable thing in life?? your own identity!!!!
go live it off , your way... go explore life you watch cricket because everyone does???? go watch something else and make up your mind..feel like wearing a torn t-shirt ?? go wear it....
expertise is that you live it full everytime so that you feel that you are alive :)

why i am a bad date :)

i have never been on a dating marathon nor i plan to... to be very candid have never dated a girl.. but i know why i am a bad date
1) i am a very choosy but a hard core foodie (well on a parantha joint i think i ll be more into paranthas then into the conversation..untill unless i really love the girl... but such a girl has to be equally adventurous foodie... which they are not esp for the punjabi food and that to butter and lassi :) ).
2) they may find my dressing sense a little "not so wow"... i am usually found in blue jeans, plane t-shirts and a trademark jerk-in.. and not in uber cool clothes..
3) whenever i am happy that i am going for shopping then that means i am going to buy some books which girls dont find very interesting (read entrepreneurship, business strategy and self help books)
4) i am not very expressive (read: i am not expressive for everyone) so when the girl is expecting me to be expressive chances are i ll bottle it up... and to be very frank i am a bottling expert who can do that for long long time (read months and years :)..)
5) i know the map to my life,so i may be the one who may get bitten by entrepreneurship bug and ...).. so i am not a super safe bet for life..
6) and last but not the least i have enormous love inside me.. which not every girl can bear :):)

so now its upto you :)
hahahah....

see you all soon..have got a lot to catch up..

have a great time folks

cookie mechanics

Cookie mechanics

Its not a new science (if you thought it was something sort of quantum mechanics then, its not but its at least something worth noticing)
Well it started off in a baker’s kitchen when I was in New Delhi during my graduation years, I knew a baker and insisted that he allow me to bake a cake for friend’s birthday, after much cajoling he agreed and there I was a novice trying to act like a gourmet baker.

Before I could bake, the oven was already baking some assorted cookies and it was taking ages for them to (you know what.) as he saw my impatience, he said,

“If the cookie is taking time to get prepared, its going to be very crispy and tasty”,

And that is the first law of cookie mechanics.
It requires immense patience to bake something worth relishing later, whether it is in a kitchen or in life,
“But patience is not the only ingredient to bake cookies master baker! You need to be calculative, while giving shapes may be a very swiftly executed process baking is not. When to go fast when to go slow is the magical recipe”.

And after a long wait we had the cookies, which didn’t looked “too” special to me and that’s what I said,” well they don’t seem to be what you were planning”,

Taste the cookie, then give a feedback”

And that is the second law of cookie mechanics.
Don’t judge things on the face value “always”, whether it be a person or a recipe go and test (you cannot taste a person after all until unless you are a cannibal).you deserve to get the best in life but only you can tell what is best for you. so if someone you feel like is worth being a good partner go straight and give him\her a chance.

“ok, I will taste it”, and I did, “but hey how can a cookie with dry fruits into it be salty??”. (but I found it tasty and I am happy that I gave it a chance J )

“You don’t always get what you want but making the most out of it is important”

And that is the third law of cookie mechanics.
While going for a life that is too predictable you get what you have ordered but otherwise wish and supply is not the same, “when I was studying at a baking school I always thought of a partner from the same class or expertise, but my partner never went to college but he is great at things I am not, two left hands don’t make a grip”..

So what is the name of this cookie??”
“Haven’t named yet but what about “Yankee doodle”?? nice name but what does it means???
“hahahaha.. it means a lot to me but as for now, the secret law of my kitchen, you need to know a lot but more importantly you need to know what you should not tell that you know J “.

And one more, “experimenting is good but if you know whats your calling in life give it all you have got, love like there was no tomorrow but to the same person always J”

(more laws yet to be discovered )

why every woman deserve a SANTA??

hi, well the christmas is not near and i dont get christmas holidays in specific either and more so,i am not the PR agent working for santa clause this year.. neither is my company the supplier of gifts to him..
then how do??
ok let me answer it soon..
but let me clarify i am not a male chauvinist and respect women to the highest possible social limits...
it started off on a not so eventful afternoon when i ended up asking two of my friends to mail me what they want in their lives ??

mail one:  financial stability (read lot of money and other assets), freedom (read big swoosh cars and other material possesions ) , a companion (with qualities like beautiful, loving, understanding etc..) and ......

mail two :a wonderful family (read a wonderful family only :)  ), a companion (loving, caring understanding and responsible and sensible), and then comes financial stability so as to have secure future for the family..

mail one is by a male and mail two is by a female friend of mine..
and despite being the one who desires all of them (yaa all of them but not with the same priority rating), i would agree more so to the mail two as more meaningful...

many of my friends do yearn for the mail one (some females included but for a different reason)..
like to control their destiny and be the driver of their own lives, and be able to shape it the way they want.. (but ending up losing track because they get hooked up to some one who is chasing a stupid dream of being materially content and emotionally dented)...

whatever, i am not the one to discuss further on that, (atleast as of now)

the crux is i found that women have more meaningful dreams (if they are their own)
and since they are special, ya they are they desreve something special in life..

and what about a SANTA???
ya someone who will be there around them, (someone who is not chasing an idiotic dream and the stair that he is trying hard to climb is not leaned to the wrong wall of biases and idiosyncracies) and give them enough wings to dream more and then stand by them (by trusting them genuinely) so that they soar high to realise their dreams (WELL IRONICALLY that requires maturity to understand that "your dreams give me happiness too", which i found in my gym hitting and all time boozing friends...)..

but hey the story actually begins here,
look around there is already a santa around you but you havent identified him yet for sure... why ?? because.not all the santas sing and come out asking for your wish, santa's are a shy creatures ,contrary to the father christmas...

by the way , same applies to men too but after they undergo a shock therapy and realise that they deserve a fairy too :)

see you when you have found yours :)

well, i would say go and search for him, he is somewhere near

is it necessary???

hi,
every time you make a decision (well you may not know why you made it sometimes ,the real reason.) why the hell you have to explain it to every tom dick and harry???? (some people are fine. but when it becomes a so called social issue (sometimes it does in india.. your aunty will be asking your family, " why did he chose to do so?? there are many other good options available..") . WHY??
whwther i want to be a barber or a barbarian its my wish.. (we are thought to become self dependent but still scrutinized for the decisions we make for ourselves..).. from the girl you hold hands with to hair cut you sport.. from the jeans you wear to the music you listen to. 1 shold be given enough liberty to take decisions for self ( unless its not harmfull for the lesser mortals).. so that the society can rest in peace and maintain the underlying diversity which the amalgmation of globalization and power to choose brings along.
amen..

RASPUTIN.
